Behind him, he sees his pony friends in superhero attire as well and recognizes them as the heroes in his comic-the Power Ponies. Spike, now in superhero attire, regains consciousness on the roof of a building in Maretropolis. Twilight and her friends, in their attempt to save him, get dragged inside as well, except Pinkie who just jumps in after them. This causes a magic spell in the comic book to come to life, and Spike is sucked inside its pages.
